They are insanely good, but I don't think they win 64 or are favorites for the championship. They could beat anyone, though. It wouldn't be a surprise to see them win a ring, but I'd have to see it to believe it.

To me they are right there with LAC & OKC, that tier right below Miami.
Also @ high win count at the top, that's possible too because a lot of teams are gonna be tanking hard.

wtf? The Heat were a lucky bounce from losing to San Antonio.
unproven head coach. I still think the heat, bulls and pacers are better. We will see though.

What does that have to do with what he said? Are the Clippers and Thunder on Miami's level, or even the Spur's level?
I think Miami and Brooklyn will be the Top 2 seeds and they will be in the ECF. I don't know about best record, though... It's not completely out of the question but they need a lot of luck too with injuries and how to give their veterans rest.
So what.
The Nets look good. And they have depth. They could lose Lopez and still be fine. Or Johnson.
KG is still one of the most agile big guys in the league, has good timing for rebounds, has elite vision for a big man which never goes away, and has a great jump shot.
I don't think they'll be 64-18, because to do that they'd have to play amazing from opening day onwards and they probably won't be able to do that, but by the end of the year this team should be an elite team.

It's always nice to have the best record (it really helped Miami in the Finals), but that shouldn't be their main priority in the regular season. Their main goal should be to stay healthy and well rested for the playoffs. There's no point of having the best record in the league if you are going to be in the playoffs injured and tired.
Someone remind ESPN the Nets do not have prime KG and prime PP and their coach has zero experience. :facepalm
ESPN insiders are already picking the Nets to win the NBA championship!
Doolittle projects that the Brooklyn Nets will own a 64-18 record, one better than Miami, and a 36% chance of winning the NBA title.
The Nets certainly improved but they need to be healthy to win and even I don't believe that they will be fully healthy heading into the playoffs. They weren't healthy last season.:(
BTW, can someone post me ESPN insider "Power moves for east teams" please. Thanks.
Oh, I agree. But in the case Brooklyn will inevitably have to face Miami in the playoffs, I think that them securing the Top seed would be bonus points. I actually don't see much of the Net players getting injured for long outside of Brook Lopez. If their front court can stay healthy, it can still cause a lot of problems. Even their back court players can play big and post up well.

terrible post
Nets will be a top 4 seed in the East but not 64 wins. :lol
