A lot of teams using the 49ers offense this year....

I notice a lot of teams are using the 49ers' offense this year. It definitely is a copy cat league. Just like the West Coast Offense from Bill Walsh, now they are copying Harbs and Romans/Ault offense.

The 49ers offense isn't exactly the one I'd look to.

why are nearly all the NFC West fans here such trolls?

Needs to be some more Rams and Cardinals fans to balance it out.

The Pistol Offense and the Pistol Formation. List of teams I notice that are copying the 49ers. During Montana and Young's era we saw a lot of WCO in the league and that was due to the coaching tree of Walsh that introduced it to many teams. During this Kaepernick era, he is introducing the Pistol Offense to the NFL. When you think of a great QB, his impact is second to none.

Browns
Seattle
Philly
Redskins
Panthers
Colts

Yeah, the Niners clearly aren't good enough to win a SB with it so other teams are doing them a favor and picking up the baton. We're not all meant to be winner after all.

They have the most balance offense in the league. We have a good running game, probably the best in the last 3 years. We have a very versatile QB that can run and pass. I can also bring up the stats to prove it too.

Going up to the new stadium in a couple of weeks.

Heard they followed the Giants model, very bland cookie cutter building with shitloads of ammenities.

Lol this is just not true.

The Redskins installed quite a bit of pistol formation looks in OTAs 2012 when they drafted RG3. The Shanahans caught the league by storm with it and were moving the ball so well with pistol/read option that teams like SEA, CAR, SF then started to use it after the Skins were carving defenses out in 2012. Now, the unnecessary risk factor is a major drawback for star QBs and the Redskins learned that, despite our QB getting injured on non drawn up scrambles and improvised plays.

I kno it's like pot calling kettle black when I say you are a homer for thinking this but until u tell me and prove that the 9ers were running pistol in early 2012, Mike and Kyle Shanahan (for all their faults) should be credited for installing pistol formation in modern NFL. Nobody was really playing out of it before 2012, unless teams were running it many years ago. Robert Griffin was working out of pistol as soon as the Redskins drafted him, so me thinks you are just misinformed or have tunnel vision.

Redskins were not running the Pistol Offense.

The Pistol Offense is strongly associated with the 49ers and the 49ers have success running it full time. Kap is a master of this offense and came from Nevada, with Chris Ault, who is considered the father of the offense.

49ers OC, Greg Roman, was at the Pistol Offense camp and a student of Ault's.

It is the 49ers offense and a lot of teams are copying them. Nobody runs it better. Nooobody.

It is a copy cat league and I don't mind it but we all know who the best at running this offense is. Kap.
