Whoa, this is out of the blue. RIP
Not really. He had pancreatic cancer and the survival rate is not very good.. :(
Rip.
I knew he had cancer, but I wasn't aware of how bad it was. This is a shame.
A truely great coach.
RIP
Man. That was really out of the blue for me. This was just a month or two after he was diagnosed, right? Sad to see him go. Had a neighbor who also died of pancreatic cancer. Nearly everyone in the village was there. But anyway, cheers to Coach Chuck and his work. Hope you're enjoying up there. :applause:
he only missed the plyoffs twice in his nba career, his first season and his next to last season.
r.i.p
didnt the pistons owner die this year aswell?
RIP ... he was definitely a great coach of the bad boys!
:pimp:
He was a great coach back in the day. My condolences to the Daly family. God bless his soul. R.I.P. Chuck Daly.
This is a very sad news. RIP Coach Chuck Daly.
Chuck Daly was a class act
R.I.P.
Which coach was wearing a CD pin on his suit in the playoffs? I forgot. Or was it Doug Collins?

they all were (except phil jackson game 2 and 3 of the utah series, don't know why not) as were all of the media guys from nbatv/tnt/espn and probably beyond that as well, my question is do they stop wearing it now that he's dead?
