what???
You could sleep on the Spurs since 2007 and be fine.

why so serious?
Basketball is serious stuff homie.
Spurs 35 point whooping of Cleveland tonight. 6 players in double figures tonight and none of them named Duncan, Ginobili, Jackson or Leonard.
Don't hate, appreciate!

But then technically I guess you could have slept on 26 other teams since then and been alright also.
It would be great if this year's finals would be between Spurs and Celtics. We would finally have Duncan vs Garnett in NBA finals, even though it's a bit too late in their respective careers.
This would be my ideal Finals.
people sleep on the celtics even harder then the spurs. not wise
willdo
It's happening again... best record in the league.
Guess I'm a sleeper cuz no way in hell with they make it out of the west. They're great but not a defense first team anymore, they can't be, so I don't think they can win. Too much pressure on an old Duncan to dominate both ends to beat other elite teams in a series.

For the info they're actually one of the best defensive teams in the league (better than any other contender in defensive efficiency - with the exception of Memphis), and not as good offensively as last year (still one of the best teams though). So they are actually adjusting to a more defensive style, without losing too much in the process, which if you ask me is pretty impressive.

A stretch of 11 seasons of 50 or more wins is impressive. But c'mon on now. It is not like they are playing the same tough teams day in and day out. We were shouting the Spurs praise last year during the same time frame. What happened? They lost to a more youthful team. Flashback to the year before. The Spurs won 60 games. What happened? They ran into Memphis. For the last 4-5 years, the Spurs have been the best team in the league. They just can't close the deal. So if the Spurs goal is to win 50 plus games a year. They are a lock and that is cool. I would think you would want more, like the NBA title. I'm just saying.
It's different this year
It's not. People are just too stupid to understand that more than one team is good enough to win it all. They were good enough last year, it just didn't happen. They'll be good enough this year too, maybe they'll win it all maybe they won't but if you think they're not good enough you're just wrong.
All they do is lose in the playoffs. Not worried. Next.
