GREAT trade for the Clippers...
it looks like it right now, but what if Camby misses a lot of time with that back of his and is never the same player again? than the clippers are forced to eat 40 million for nothing

Where do you get 40 million from? Camby's remanining salary could be 20 million if he reaches his incentives in his contract. He misses time, he misses time, and we have another solid expiring to use during the 2009-10 deadline, or that coming offseason.

ESPN is where i heard, what is Camby's yearly salary? he's got 2 years on the contract right?
this was the dumbest trade in the world.denver just broke up the melo/ai/camby combo.plus what is dunlevey gonna do?kaman cant play pf.although camby has a good 15 ft jumper he cant play pf ether

The 40 million was referring to the luxury tax the Nuggets would have payed if they kept Camby. Camby makes 20 mil total over the next years.
This is good for Camby...his talent was just being wasted in Denver.
This trade gave teams with RFA's all the leverage in negotiations now. Hopefully Philly won't have to overpay Andre Iguodala now.

what position was ben wallace an ideal fit for when the pistons made consecutive finals with him in the starting lineup? he doesnt have the offensive game of an ideal PF and considering he's shorter than Lebron James, he's not exactly your typical center.
kaman has a good post game, so they can afford to put camby at the PF for his defense, rebounding, and reasonably good midrange game. its actually a really good fit for this team. they've got shooters in baron and gordon, and an explosive slasher who can get to the rim in thornton, a guy in kaman who can play with his back to the basket, and now they've got a dirty work guy capable of goin off for 10-15 points, 16 boards and 3 blocks in a given game.
like i said before, i think they have a lineup with pieces that really compliment each other. if they can develop chemistry quickly i think this team could really impress.
Last year, Camby was on a team that was based off of it's guards and Melo to score, this year, he's on a team with a coach that has a grind-it-out mentality and is one of the best, if not the best, at exploiting mismatches in the half-court set constantly, so I expect Camby to get about 11 a game on solid %. Kaman himself is no slouch as a passer because he seems to have good court vision, but I don't know if he can pass it out the double team that well.
Did you write that Dunleavy is the best at something?
I'll give him props for playing ventriloquist GM for bucket-list Baylor but coaching props? Hah.

In 2010, WOULD YOU BELIEVE...THE CLipps will be a big player
in the Bron sweepstakes with a min $26 mil in free cap space
and Kaman and Baron there to attract Bron to a team
that would contend with him.
Possible Starting Lineup in 2010
PG Red Baron Davis
SG Eric the Red Gordon
SF LEBRON
PF Al "jr dominque" Thornton
C Chris Kaveman
Would you believe..Donald T Sterling wants that banner hanging
from Staples bad.
any chance the Nuggets trade Carmelo??? there had been trade rumors about him around a month ago...

don't get your hopes up

You think Lebron is going to Kobeland?
Sorry dude. He's coming to New York.

$26 Million Plus sets the Clips up as the players in the Bron
sweepstakes. Bron will only be playing in one of
three big market cities in 2010..Chicago, LA, or New York.
This makes the Clippers and the one New York team
(unless the Knicks can shed cap space)
the most likely destination for Bron. The Bulls are not
likely to be under the cap with enough space and
the Lakers are not going to have the space or want
to put Bron with Ms Bryant.
