Griffin gave the crowd of 18,325 something worth remembering with 5:40 left in the third quarter -- an in-your-face posterizing of Russian rookie Timofey Mozgov on a driving slam dunk in which Griffin balanced himself by putting his left hand on the right side of Mozgov's face in midair. The first overall pick in the 2009 draft completed the three-point play after Mozgov's face was called for a foul.

Baron Davis injured. Chris Kaman injured. Rasual Butler just injured. Eric Gordon a ballhog. What else can you ask for in this fricking team?
I just feel so sorry about him. His outstanding play does not deserve him to be playing in such crappy team. 1-13, the worst in the league.
I would push him for this year's Rookie challenge, all star game, slam dunk contest....if he does not get injured at that time.
i think Mr. Griffin just retired Mozgov and Gallinari in the same game two dunks of death!
BRUTALITY!!!
Blake Griffin = Shao Kahn im serious!
No, just Al Thornton. Griffin was the only reason this game was tolerable. From Brian Cook to Danillo Gallinari, I can't tell you who killed the Clippes more.
i actually watched the end of this game because of griffin. but that was their worst team play of the season, and we have to watch close to 70 more games of it.
if i see the words eric gordon and ballhog in the same sentence again im gonna start stabbing ****ers.
Question: Why is Brian Cook in the Clippers rotation? From his Rockets days, we learned that Brian Cook is not a NBA caliber player.

he was not. until tonight. del negro got sucked off by dantoni pregame. i can't think of any other reason why both brian cook played and craig smith didn't play at all.
this was honestly the first game where i can say his stats werent empty. hes an excitement machine, and if he can keep putting his stamp on games like tonight, they'll start winning.
before it was all just stats and occasional highlight though tonight you felt the damage he was doing.
Holy shit.

WOAH,
Sportscenter just put ALL of Blake's dunks together as #1 hahah
They needed to make space for others to have a piece of the top 10.

thats definitely true, this was the first game in which he had an impact in the 2nd half. he could score 30 in the first quarter and it wouldn't matter.
He's not even as good as Amare was as a rookie
PER 36
Amare-15.5 ppg 10.1 rpg 1.2 BLK 55.0 TS% .110 WSp48
Griffin-17.2 ppg 11.0 rpg .3 BLK 50.3 TS% .050 WSp48
Griffin is probably the worst defender in the league at his position and outside of his rebounding, he does nothing at an above average level other than dunking.
He might be the best dunker in the league, but he sucks at scoring in general. 50.3 TS% from a starting PF is horrible, especially one that can't play defense.
Gordon is far and away the best player on this team
Anyone who bases their argument on stats, especially PER, as opposed to what they see with their own eyes on the court is not to be taken seriously. :banghead:
