Corona y Lime
You know, traditionally they're not supposed to be mixed together. In Mexico they put the lime there to detract mosquitos. They're traditionally not supposed to be mixed, but no one listens to that. Just like wasabi and soy sauce. If you're in Japan, you'd rarely see that at all, and the Japanese hate it when people do that.
Speaking of Vodka, anyone try out DaiKa? It's Vodka that's been filtered through diamonds.

Fruit in beer... any beer is weird and wrong.
wang, that's one of the silliest things I've ever heard because nothing tastes better than a lime in a corona. it's a fact, jack.
Basically it's all about the bottle. Corona was a rather cheaply made beer, in a cheap bottle. They save money by putting it in a clear bottle. The reason that colored bottles are better is because it keeps light out. When light, and perhaps especially sunlight, hits a clear bottle, it obviously goes right through and hits whatever is inside. The problem with this is that it causes free radicals to be released in the massive amount of only a few parts per billion. However, we are extremely sensitive to what is released - the chemical composition is nearly identical to what is in a skunk's glands. Obviously you've heard of skunky beer before, and this is what they are talking about. Now, when you have a dark bottle, it slows down this process tremendously, almost completely, but the bottles cost more to produce. It's the same kind of deal with Turner milk putting their milk into solid yellow containers, but they cost a little more.
So basically, when confronted with this issue, the marketers at Corona came up with a rather simple way of combating this skunkiness - suck a lime while drinking, and it was a huge hit. Other beers don't taste as good with a lime because they are typically in a colored bottle or solid can and don't have these free radicals in them.
Gatorade!
JPR's quote is exactly right
I used to work in a bar, and the Coronas, Sols, and MGDs (clear bottled beers) go skunk first, due to light exposure.
