:kobe:
CP3: 34 points, 16 assists, 6 steals, 55.2% FG, 66% 3PT
BG32: 35 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks, 55.6% FG, 100% 3PT, 80% FT
mods, can you change the thread title to CP3/BG32 MVP Watch Thread?
CP3: 21 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 5 steals, 50% FG, 83.3% FT
BG32: 40 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 65% FG, 82.4% FT
blake ft shooting the last 10-15 games is off the chart.. his midrange game and post game are improving.. he is still not great on defense but at least he tries..
just as important as cp3 imo
I've also noticed Blake actually fighting for post positions this season.
Doc Rivers has done wonders for the big men. He has given them confidence and direction unlike VDN. He shows that he trust his big men. Under VDN, DeAndre Jordan would never have been on the court during the waning minutes of the 4th quarter. Griffin and Jordan have shown improvement and more confidence under Doc. Griffin is playing with his rookie energy and his now much improved skill set. He still has spectacular plays here and there. But most of his scoring doesn't require him to over use his athletic ability.

griffin is actually taking more advantage of his athletic ability. the last two years whenever he got the ball in an isolation he would just try and back down and over power everyone. which works against a lot of players but when he is guarded by strong 7 footers he should use his quickness and just drive by them. which he is doing now a lot. he also has gotten better at making plays in the high post. before he used to just stand around after getting the ball from cp and look for a 3 point shooter. now he attacks the rim and when they leave dj open he throws the alley oop. he is being used a lot more effectively this year. and since he can hit the jumper it opens up a lot, a lot of that is the confidence from rivers, but also the shooting coach.
BG32: 31/12/2 on 70% FG, 50% 3PT, 50% FT
CP3: 17/4/14 on 50% FG, 25% 3PT, 100% FT
lmao is this for real or a troll thread

What's cool is that Griffin was like 8-12 on jumpers. When he's confident that jumper falls.
