Havent we been through this? He was injured during the vote opening. Had he not been he would have been right at the top like has been been for years. You think people just suddenly started hating Durant?

Kobe stans are delusional. What do you expect?
How many votes did Durant get last year? You think the MVP and WCF lost cost him popularity?
there's already a three point shooting contest in the allstar weekend, the fans dont want another
:lol
shitty market?
Has to be because of the fact that he's missed so much games.
Not really. You can miss a to of games and if you're popular, it means nothing
I'm surprised CP3 is that low. Is usually a lock for top 2, plays in LA, in commercials etc
CP3 doesn't have any fans. Same with Dwight.

Dwight actually led in voting one year. He lost a ton of fans during Dwightmare

ArbitraryWater made a great point. I'm not sure anymore, Westbrook's high level of play? lol i got nothing
Wait...so Westbrook's probably gonna miss the ASG?

Yup
Maybe it's just me but I've never gotten as much enjoyment watching Durant as other superstars
Injuries were a factor in deflating his vote totals but ultimately Durant's popularity is capped playing in a small market...he is a God in Oklahoma and will forever be, win or lose. Does he prefer that or does he prefer marketing dollars? If it is the latter, he needs to bolt OKC...(winning>market, though, and OKC, in addition to being his adopted home, presents a great prospect of winning so long as Westbrook also is there)

he's too bland
Glad to see Pau :applause: :applause:
