well, cheetahs are bigger, period. about 3-4x the weight and around 2x the length. using the word "average" is very misleading. it's not even close on average.
meh sorry i'm kind of an animal nut.

true, true dat... so what animal did you wind up getting?
ironically, the only animal they let us have here are cats, and i'm in the mood for a different animal after years of cats and dogs. really wanted a parrot this time. *le sigh*
Cats are f*cking boss.

nothing...I looked into pet caracals as well but IIRC they are even more difficult and can not be trained to use a litter box, and their piss smells ungodly awful from what I read...
I had a salt water coral tank for a around 5 years, and those are fckin awesome although expensive and a lot of work. I ended up giving it all away to a fish store because I was just burnt out on taking care of it. I want to do that again though down the road, and I plan on getting an octopus tank this time which has to be specially made because octopus are so genius at escaping and are often found on the floor next to the tank of owners who don't know better.

ah, that's awesome. too bad the rep system is down.
i used to keep a medium salt water tank, and know what you mean.
i love molluscs / cephalopods, so the octopus idea sounds really cool. imagine all the little intelligence experiments you could run, as well as just watching their daily tricks and stuff...

Not an octopus but a squid has a story about getting out of the tank i love. In an aquarium, there was a person who cleaned the tank and one day the squid got too close and the guy hit it with the pole. The squid went after the guy and he actually had to be saved by another diver.
Squid got moved to another smaller tank sometime a few years later. More than 10 years after the initial incident the person returned to the aquarium and walked by the tank, where the squid was on the floor, trying to get at the person. He got out of the tank somehow to attack his enemy he remembered.
Those things fascinate me.
Dogs are so much better and it's not even close. Cats don't give a ***** about you. They don't calls dogs "man's best friend" for no reason
What nonsense are you talking about?
Cats cuddle, cats purr, cats come to you when you are sleeping, cats blink at you, cats rub against your leg and show all kinds of affection.
Any cat lovers in here. I've had dogs all my life and I've only had a cat for 2 years but damn this little fella is a better pet than all the dogs I've had. He's clean, loyal, and much smarter. Any else feel the same way.
Guys who like cats over dogs are beta as fk.

A dog is man's best friend. I think you should try to keep them.
I have four years old cat named chili. He suffered from allergies because I didn't know what he eats when he's outside. I tried to put him in a cage but I can see that he's uncomfortable that's why It didn't last long. I just lock my doors and windows to prevent him from going outside. I also used Tinctures for pet to get rid of his allergies. I'm so happy that he's now okay and active.
