And why does toronto do this trade..
Mopete >>> Duhon
#1 >>> #2
And we do not need Chandler.. since hez not a banger

this is horrible for toronto .. Chicago would be all over this...

GoRapz 06-10-2006 12:18 PM

I'd consider this trade.

It's not a horrible trade, it's pretty good actually, the only thing bad about it is we wouldnt have an SG.

Chamberlain 06-10-2006 12:20 PM

Chandler's not really a banger but he is a pretty big defensive presence. He blocks shots and grabs rebounds. He's probably not the perfect fit but he's a definate upgrade. As far s Duhon goes he'd be a good guy to fill in the PG spot, but like GoRapz said, we would be left without a SG, unless they draft Brandon Roy with the 2nd pick.

NO!

Chandler has the infamous title of being the most overpaid, big stiff in the league.

Bourne 06-10-2006 02:13 PM

Not overly bad. The Raptors get shotlocking and a PG, but I still wouldn't do this.

Pistol Pete 06-10-2006 02:23 PM

Chandler would have to prove that he can play and earn his contract before I would make this trade, in my mind, he is in the same situation as Samuel Dalembert. They both got paid big contracts, and have both struggled following that contract. If either were to finally prove that they can be a legitimate big man in this league, I personally feel Chandler is a power forward but that's beside the point, then I wouldn't be opposed to acquiring them.

As it stands though, Chandler has a large contract and he hasn't earned it yet.

Pretty big fan of Duhon, solid low key role playing guy.

Tyson Chandler is intimidating still... 7'1 big time rebounder-shot blocker. Very much a liability though with nearly constant injury problems involving his leg and the notable asthma / breathing problems.
