Sonics initiative set for the ballot
Seattle Post-Intelligencer: An initiative that aims to block city politicians from subsidizing a new Sonics arena with tax dollars has qualified for the Nov. 7 ballot. King County officials said Thursday that proponents of Initiative 91 had collected at least the minimum 17,968 signatures needed. That leaves the City Council two options: enact the measure themselves or put it on the November ballot
