New Mystics coach is Julie Plank
Mystics hire Julie Plank, 11th coach in 12 seasons -- The AP reports: Once again, the Washington Mystics introduced a new coach, a ritual that happens about once a year. They promised this one would stick around a while. Julie Plank, a longtime college and WNBA assistant, was hired Thursday as the latest hope for a team that has known nothing but change. She becomes the 11th coach of a franchise that begins its 12th season next summer.
