Just made a big trade, did I win?
I got Dirk and Kidd for Amare and Prince.

My team now (10 team league):

PG - Jason Kidd
SG - Rip Hamilton
G - Allen Iverson
SF - Gerald Wallace
PF - Dirk Nowitzki
F - Jermaine O'Neal
C - Yao Ming
C - Samuel Dalembert
UTIL - Brandon Roy
UTIL - Devin Harris
BN - Rajon Rondo
BN - Chris Duhon
BN - Ramon Sessions
BN - Marquis Daniels
BN - Nick Young

K, so now I think I have too many PG/SG's. I think I can deal Rip for a decent big? What should I do?

EDIT: Thinking about sending an offer of Hamilton for Nene. What do you think?

I personally like that trade for you. Dirk's value is close to Amare's, even when he breaks out of his slump, and Kidd had MUCH more value than Tayshaun once he comes back down to Earth. You win IMO.

As for dealing Rip, I'd rather offer Harris. Roy can play at the SG spot, but plays like a PG, meaning you can use Rip's efficiency in scoring, %'s and threes as a SG. I like going for someone like Nene only because Yao and JO are such liabilities when it comes to injuries. You could also consider flipping Kidd for someone like Al Jefferson etc, since you already have a poor man's Kidd in both Duhon and Rondo.

Living in Detroit and watching this team for years, I have to disagree. The new philosophy with this team is to get Prince more involved and make him the second option on offense. Him and AI have meshed very well to start. It is no fluke that prince is putting up the numbers he has, its just the fact that this is less of a "team atmosphere" where we run set plays all day long.

I personally think you lost on this deal as far as who provides the most value, but based on your team, the deal fits better i think. You now have a solid AST man and dont have to worry so much about Duhon and Sessions. AI + Kidd should solidfy that cat. Amare provides some blocks and great percentages, but blocks dont look to be an issue and percentages should be fine.

You did ok.
