So what are the best settings for fantasy basketball

I'm trying to figure out what would be the best settings in my yahoo leauge. What kind of starting lineups do people usually like and how many people should the league allow in? Any advice from fantasy vets here on the boards.

.

well usually you set the league on default which includes the categories:
FG% FT% 3PTM POINTS REBOUNDS ASSISTS STEALS BLOCKS TURNOVERS.

alot of people play head to head but rotiss is also alot of fun. head to head is when your team plays a different team each week...then the top 4-6 teams (depending on your league size) play the final few weeks of the nba season in a playoff format.
rotiss is accumulation of points. the team with the most points wins.

i have played both and both are fun...it just depends on the majority i guess.

better settings

I like playing without Turnovers as a stat category.

Turnovers punish players that handle the ball often, and sometimes make it worth it to trade down from a player like Iverson to a lesser guard just because they aren't as talented and won't get as many touches. This isn't basketball, it's fascism.

FGs, FG%, FT%, 3PTM, RB, AST, STL, BLK
