Spring Training is Upon Us(Grapefruit and Cactus League Kickoff)

The Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues begin play today!

I am really excited about getting the Mets championship journey underway. I am sure you too are looking forward to seeing your team compete to be the at the most the second best team in beisbol in 2009.

Cheers to the fact that spring training baseball is starting earlier than usual, and the season will END later than usual

I'm so glad baseball is back!

Baseball America released its Top 100 propects yesterday and the Rangers had 10 of the top 108 players

10. Neftali Feliz
23. Justin Smoak
31. Derek Holland
37. Elvis Andrus
73. Taylor Teagarden
84. Max Ramirez
86. Martin Perez
101. Engle Beltran
104. Julio Bourbon
108. Michael Main

That is absolutley mindblowing that 1 orgainzation can have 10 of the top 108 and 4 of the top 37 minor league players in baseball when you have 30 teams in MLB which would be an average of about 3.2 per team.

This list does not include superstar rookie Chris Davis who would be a top 3 prospect in the minors if he was still eligible... Rangers are stacked.

Plus, Andruw Jones hit a 2 run homer in an interleague game yesterday.

Rangers? Andruw Jones?:oldlol: That garbage rotation, and that Curocaoan piece of trash aren't gonna do much this year.

Rangers will be sick by 2011 if half of those prospects hit at all. Just watch...

They could contend this year. Millwood and Padilla are in contract years, Matt Harrison won 9 games as a rookie last year, and Brandon McCarthy can be a good #2 if he can stay healthy.

Everyone knows their offense is incredible and the best in the majors.

But 2010 is when the Rangers begin their era of domination.

We refer to that as "not getting over the hump".:lol

And how dare you bring a football topic to a baseball thread:no:

:oldlol: Win one championship in 20+ years, and now they feel as if they are in position to throw around slurs like choker.

If you're the '07 or '08 Mets, it's really not a slur anymore. It's just reality.

If a team chokes real hard, you can just say, "the '09 Phillies pulled a Mets"
