A 2009 NBA D-League All-Star and the NBA D-League Slam Dunk Champion in Phoenix, White has appeared in 34 games (33 starts) with the Arsenal, where he averaged a league-leading 25.9 points to go with 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 41.1 minutes while shooting 55 percent (291-of-530) from the field. Named NBA D-League Performer of the Week on Jan. 5, White has scored in double figures 33 times, including 11 games where he scored 30 or more points, while recording an NBA D-League season-high 47 points in a 117-113 loss to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Jan. 20, 2009.

My guess is that he's not gonna do s*it in the NBA, seeing as how he was drafted in 2006, and has been in the D-League ever since.

Amazing dunker, ridiculous hops, no real basketball skills.

Well, we need some sort of athletism on the Rocket, seriously, bceause of hte huge lack of dunking on this team all White needs to do is just 1 showboat jam and all the Rockets fans will go crazy, we've been deprived for so long!

Thats true, so let me rephrase. Amazing dunker, ridiculous hops, very few NBA-level skills.

There must be a reason he was given multiple chances with NBA teams (Spurs, Pacers) and wasn't able to carve out a niche to play even 5 minutes a game, and has been in the D-League and Europe since he was drafted.

However, his developing offensive game and ball handling skills certainly give him a tremendous amount of upside even this late into his career, despite being already 26 years old.

The NBA is scattered with players that moved from team to team before they "got it". Von Wafer was one bad preseason performance away from not even being on a NBA roster this season, now he's been a very pleasent surprise.
