What is with the speculations of T.O. getting Pau Gasol?
I don't like Pau Gasol much. He is too hot cold but I guess Memphis has been looking into unloading him off on a team because their team needs a new look. For the past 2 or 3 years, the team has been swept in the first round so I guess the GM there is getting furious at the club.

I actually wouldn't mind him. Him and Bosh cold definitely make a great tandem down low and Calderon likes playing with him.

charlie V, eric williams and the #1 for pau gasol and #24
or eric williams, alvin williams and the #1 for pau gasol so memphis get 2 expirers to give them cap space soon, and the #1 pick so they get a young new franchise guy to build around as gasol aint working |
It's pure BS.
There is no way in hell Memphis trades Pau Gasol especially after last season. |
You never know anything can happen

Hey, since the media does it, lets make our own rumours. Um, how about, #1, Chris Bosh, Charlie V and Mo Pete for Memphis guard Chucky Atkins. That trade would happen before Pau Gasol being traded here. Or how about Matt Bonner for Dirk Nowitzki? would that work?

I don't agree with the first trade. First of all, we would be giving up Charlie V, who has great potential that may possibly rank within Gasol's level in the future. We also need the 1st pick to address our liability centre needs. The 24 pick may be a slide too far down. The second trade is improbable. They may clear space but there are some key points to consider. For a pick, it may take time to develop. If Gasols gone, they would surely be in the rebuilding process with Eddie Jones expiring also. I don't think they would want to be in that stage like we were. |
