I don't think we own our first round pick this year.... I don't expect much from this draft.

wow, I was under the impression that we didn't own it...

I like the idea of Flynn, or the best available pg is the way to go. especially with the very real possibility of Nash bouncing. I hope who ever that replacement for nash is gets lots of playing time next year and is well prepared to take the reigns full time.

Trade it.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft

smart money says they trade the pick, they never seem to keep their picks as of late, but maybe with a new coach and GM they will make noise on draft day like the picks of Lopez and Dragic...

the real question should be WHO do the Suns need to keep and WHO do the Suns need to drop?!

Flynn seems like a really good pick. Seems to be capable on dishing out dimes and putting the ball in the hole. They should definitely revise their roster this year though.

We have the #14 pick.

Now what do you think will happen. Who will come in?

Re: 2009 NBA Draft

14th pick? wow, i really expect a higher pick, perhaps below 10. we got 15th last year but we atleast made the playoffs. bs. i'm unsure on what the suns intend to do with this pick.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft

it doesn't seem to be a deep draft, but hopefully someone can fall to us... I doubt anyone would want to trade up to the # 14 spot this year.

Man, I hope no one takes Flynn before the Suns do. He seems really promising.
