Is "d*uchebag" the most powerful insult of all time?

This term started out as slang for club guys (guidos) that spike their hair and work on their biceps and wear tight shirts, get tans...ect...

Today the term "douchebag" can mean ANY MALE...

*never seen it used for a female

but for some strange reason it is the most offense name you can call another male...and I don't understand it...

I can call my freinds a-holes...or dicks...or p*ssies...ect...

but for some strange ass reason the word douchebag is going too far...

with great power comes great responsibility....:oldlol:

My brother in law were talking about this, and we agreed that when used properly it is the greatest (or atleast top3) insult of all time. and that when used properly you immediately have a visual of what the person looks like.

Most powerful? not around here. Out of everything I have ever heard in my circle of friends....calling someone a f@ggot is probably the worst. That's a fighting word most definitely. d0uchebag is almost like a joke to me...

yeah...

it is really like you can't even joke around with that term...

if you call someone a "douche" in public...."IT IS ON!!!"

its more about the context. if you call some dude a f@ggot outright it's usually fighting words. Deushbag is offensive but not quite the same degree.

I think f@g and f@ggot can affect people differently. F@ggot, I think would create the greater reaction.
