I hope we don't trade Curry
we'd be giving up an awful lot to get Amare. Biedrins, B Wright AND Curry. and they are saying that Amare would probably only play 1 year with the dubs? that just seems stupid..

[QUOTEOAKLAND, Calif. -- Stephen Curry can get comfortable with the Golden State Warriors. He's not going anywhere. Coach Don Nelson says the Warriors won't trade Curry, their surprise selection with the seventh overall pick in Thursday's draft. The Davidson guard led the nation in scoring last season, but seemed an odd choice for the Warriors, given that high-scoring guard Monta Ellis plays much the same style of game. It led to speculation that Golden State drafted Curry to trade him. Although Nelson and general manager Larry Riley didn't deny discussions with the Phoenix Suns about a trade for power forward Amare Stoudemire, they made it clear Curry won't be a part of any potential deal. ][/quote] well there you go |
Re: I hope we don't trade Curry
What's up I am from the Suns forum, I agree a trade involving Amar'e on a 1 year "rental" basis is not a good idea for Golden State, I suspect this deal being completed or not will hang hard on what Amare's comitment will be to the Warriors.

Re: I hope we don't trade Curry
reaction in the warriors war room before their pick seems like they were surprised and happy that curry was still there
