Wesley Matthews
Do you think that the Jazz will keep undrafted SG Wesley Matthews from Marquette?
I think he played good for the Jazz in the preseason and plus all the other guards are banged up and the season hasn't even started yet. |
Re: Wesley Matthews
Probably.
Korver is getting knee surgery, and Miles' thumb may take a while to heal. Brewer is finally going to get real starter minutes, but we need another wing to fill out the minutes: Williams (36) / Maynor (12) Brewer (30) / Price (12) / Matthews (6) Kirilenko (36) /Brewer (6) / Millsap (6) Boozer (24) / Millsap (24) Okur (36) / Boozer (6) / Fesenko or Koufos (6) We have some awkward 6 minutes parts in that rotation. -Price at the 2 -Millsap at the 3 -Boozer at the 5 |
Re: Wesley Matthews
When does the team have to decide?

Like there should even be an or there. Sad that Koufos isn't going to play. Quote:
LOL! And one of the highest payrolls in the league too. Pretty pathetic. Very Knick like. |
Re: Wesley Matthews
My Dad knows Wes Matthews Dad so that would be pretty cool if they keep him.

Re: Wesley Matthews
Te guy's got motivation. I wonder if that is what is missing from the rest of the team so far.

Re: Wesley Matthews
How do you explain them playing the same way last year when there was plenty of motivation than? You come back with that same team minus your back-up pg this is what happens.

The team looks less motivated this year than last. Is that really so unreasonable Xaio? |
Re: Wesley Matthews
Those guys played good last nite seeing that it was their first starts.
Wesley had 16 points and Maynor had 13 points and 11 assist. |

What's unreasonable is to have expected a team, that obviously didn't have it a year ago and made only minor changes in the off season(for the worse) while most of their competition at least attempted to upgrade their already better teams, to play any better than they have. They last played D what a decade ago? Has Boozer ever done so? Their MVP from a year ago Millsap is making big money on the bench. How does that make sense? He along with AK and Koufos were the only guys that played consistently at both ends of the floor a year ago. Koufos certainly looked plenty motivated in garbage time against the Celts. The fact that not only is he not playing but somehow your brilliant coach could possibly think Fesenko is better than him is a joke. The fact that they finally decide not to play it cheap but instead of going all out still fill the rotation with guys like Price while paying most of the money to guys that play the same position is baffling and typical Jazz fare. |
Re: Wesley Matthews
Xaio,
Here are the facts we are trying to explain: 1. This year we are playing worse than last year. 2. The roster is basically the same for both years. I proposed that this could be due to a lack of motivation. You are going to have to show me why you thought this deserved the kind of response you gave it. In fact, I think you owe it to everybody who had the misfortune of reading or even skipping over the wasted screen space of your post. |

we? Who else even posts here? Quote:
As should have been expected based on their horrible off-season. Are they really playing much worse than at the end of last season though? Were you paying any attention at all last year? They got healthy and if not for Amare's injury they would have been in the lottery. Quote:
As I said. It's Jerry and the Jazz. Should we have expected anything else? Quote:
Because that was my opinion. Simple enough for ya? Quote:
Which again is who? You? Who are all these others you claim to be around getting irritated by my posts other than you? |
