This list is a fail. Iverson is top five candidate, bump Kobes off that.

What's wrong with that, the only players above him from his era are Shaq and Kobe.

Hmmm...I don't think Bird is that popular or is it just me?

I don't know about Russell. He's a Top 10 player, but I don't think that he was popular when he played.

I doubt that. Seriously. I have seen way more Iverson jersey since his rookie year than any other player in his era. He was moving units.

Also, he influenced everyone to start wearing headbands and shooting sleeves.

His impact>>>>>>>>>>95% of this list.

In the 60s, he was second only to Wilt in terms of the NBA. He was an activist as well which made him a little more known.

The NBA named Russell the greatest player in NBA History back in 1980, he was actually more popular back in the day than he is now.

Well, if you mean popularity as in notoriety then yeah. When I'm talking about popularity I mean fan wise. Like the guy with the most supporters.

Greatest doesn't mean popular. What I meant was that when Russell was playing, he didn't have a lot of fans. I could be wrong, but that's the impression that I have.
