debate is key to a successful democracy. the fact that Bush is even in power and causing all these problems shows that democracy is not being served.



i just want to clear up my political views:

i am actually a libertarian. in other words, I care about individual rights of all and myself. using a simple analogy, libertarianism is "socially liberal, economically conservative." i also think it is keeping it very real.

true conservatism in America is dead because Bush has ruined it, and stupid whining liberals (who only care about yapping their traps and complaining that they do nothing to serve their country or do anything productive at all) fail to acknowledge it exists for fear that the uneducateed proletariat will think Bush (who does not advocate true conservatism) is a good guy.

will we ever have a strong third party? we really need one.

you say "dissent" is key to a democracy.

dissent is what is causing problems in Darfur right now, one of the main issues your precious liberals care so much about.

dissent is what caused the Rwanda massacre.

dissent is what caused the French Revolution.

dissent from spheres of influence is what gutted China from the inside out.

dissent ruins nations. the original ideal of democracy in Athens is that citizens meet and peacefully discuss what is wrong in their society and how to solve it in committee. not "dissent" and strangle each other.


next time you want to engage in a political debate, you may want to look up in a dictionary what certain words mean, much less actually learn about precedent.

Just split up the country into 3 nations. The west coast above the Orange County line, the north east, and then the balance of the nation. People would be much happier.
