Can't wait for this one, so I decided to make an early thread.

All to extend his season as long as possible. It's working so far.

"If he's out there on one leg in a wheelchair," Spurs guard Richard Jefferson said, "we're going to get him the ball."

Mavericks......win if Dirk shows up and lose if he doesn't. Since Dirk is both clutch and a choker we'll have to see.

Should be a great game. Hope Dallas wins, Dirk and Kidd deserve a ring.

Popovich made some key adjustments in game 2, and it will be interesting to see if Carlisle can come up with any counters:

1) ran the pick and roll with Duncan instead of McDyess, bringing out Haywood/Dampier and leaving Dirk by his lonesome to defend the rim (which he can't do well).

2) took away more of Kidd's passing options, forcing him to shoot contested 3s (which he can't do well) or drive and finish at the basket (which he can't do well)

Hill looked a lot better in game 2. even though he was indecisive on some rotations, he made a couple of big jumpshots in the 4th.


so, what's the Mavs fan take?

looks like hill will be even more healthy i expect for him to have a big impact on this game

Think it'll come down to the main guys to settle this series..
If JT continues his run from Game 2,Spurs bench's got to step up..

Hopefully RJ's Game 2 was no fluke.Really missing George Hill's D against better PG's like Jason Kidd.

Spurs live and die by the 3,got to make those shots-and pray Dirk doesn't go berserk like in Game 1.
