Re: Report: Cavaliers dismiss Brown
It had to be done. His team totally fell appart on him, and he was unable to establish a proper rotation. On top of which you have all his defensive mistakes (Shaq on KG, seriously ?).

Re: Report: Cavaliers dismiss Brown
that was the worst thing about not only this series but the playoffs as a whole... we're suppose to be a strong defensive team

Re: Report: Cavaliers dismiss Brown
well he's not gone yet.
Gilbert said franchise evaluation will be complete in the next 7-10 day. Players, coaches, front office. |
Re: Report: Cavaliers dismiss Brown
cavs are only good in the season.. but they always get kicked out in the playoffs. this team needs more confidence. IMO

Re: Report: Cavaliers dismiss Brown
I liked Brown and thought he did a great job coaching in Cleveland. I just don't know why he messed with the rotation during the playoffs. Firstly, JJ started in almost every game during the season. The players are used to him. JJ is benched almost the entire first round vs. Chicago. Daniel Gibson is benched for good around January, only used when people have injuries or during blowouts. So why the hell put him out there with some decent playing time in the middle of the Boston series? Chemistry pays off. We saw how cluster****ed the Cavs were during the first few games of the season and even losing the first 3 games they got Jamison. Its because they had no chemistry! Look what happened once they got it right, they could not lose. I just don't get it.

Re: Report: Cavaliers dismiss Brown
As SVG said, it's not about winning and losing anymore it's about expectations, and sadly the expectations for the Cavs were very high the last 2 years, and they still came up very short. So you can't blame the Cavs for firing Mike Brown.
