Re: Hey, how come I don't get tipped at my job?
Tipping is an undeniable source of cash flow. It's better than nothing for people whose employers give shit pay but even though I am technically in a cient service role we are expected to give a 110% everyday for the firm acne it would be ludicrous to expect extra compensation for doing my job.
Ok, cool you have a good job and work hard. I'm just wondering where the "not that its surprising coming from L. Kizzle" part came from?
Re: Hey, how come I don't get tipped at my job?
I never liked l kizzle, just seems like an uneducated, un refined person, and this thread just reaffirms my perception.
Can you ever make a post without sounding like you going through roid rage?
:oldlol: that came off as roid rage?
i will admit to being completely disgusted at kizzles ignorance/cheapness on this subject.
i am betting that every single person in this thread that has ripped tipping has never worked as a waiter.
if they had, they would know just how awful waiters get treated by the public at large.
Re: Hey, how come I don't get tipped at my job?
Make sure you tip your regular mail carrier if you have one. :lol
Re: Hey, how come I don't get tipped at my job?
It's not weird, it's down right trifling. Who created this and conditioned people to think that it was okay to pay workers below minimum wage and we would be paying that much anyways since that the food would be more expensive is a genius.
I'm sure those other countries also make up the labor wages in the price of the food. The only difference here is that the restaurant gives the customer the choice to pay based on how they feel they were served.
Would you rather receive average service and be forced to pay a 15% or better gratuity? You could end up paying more money because you and your date ordered Steak while the table of six next to you ordered salads, even though their table required more overall service from the staff. I'd personally much rather pay the person what I feel they deserve.

I imagine they do(to a certain degree) but it's nearly as cut and dry as you think. 15% is relative. If I'm eating alone then yes, I probably would be paying the same but since that servers serve tables of multiple people multiple times in one hour I'm positive that they are making more than 8 eight dollars in tips for that hour.
Re: Hey, how come I don't get tipped at my job?
You probably ugly. I can tell from my personal point of view that I would never tip anybody ugly.

It's because he doesn't have a rack or he's not handsome enough, duh.

Don't know if this was posted yet, but all I thought of was this.
Re: Hey, how come I don't get tipped at my job?
I always tip but OP is right, its a retarded concept.
Re: Hey, how come I don't get tipped at my job?
I can't stand cheap asses who don't tip well. I've held numerous retail and restaurant jobs, and it's taught me to respect them and occasionally treat them like they're human, too.
