This Just IN, Brian Butch Tore his Patella Tendon in Summer League Play

Gery Woelful reported on ESPN Twitter a few minutes ago, that Brian Butch tore his patella tendon during summer league play today. Since he is the only big man on the Nuggets summer league roster, what will the Nugs do now. Also, since Johan Petro signed with the Nets either yesterday or today, the Nuggets may have lost their potential insurance player in Butch, and have no current backup center.

ya the anouncer said it during the game too... such a shame to see any young guy down with a career threatening injury... especailly in summer league... he also had a really bad elbow injury (same as boguts) in college...
