Re: Wolves trade R.Sessions, R.Hollins to Cavs for D.West, S.Telfair
I like this trade. Delonte West had to be moved because of his personal problems, him being in/out of the lineup constantly because of his mental status was sort of annoying.
We got back a quality point guard and it would be awesome if he could play like he did in Milwaukee two years ago. And he's still only 24. And he's shown the ability to be a point guard/facilitator first, scorer second.
Then there's the second-round draft pick we got, which means now the Cavaliers have 7 first round picks, 8 second round picks over the next 5 years.
Re: Wolves trade R.Sessions, R.Hollins to Cavs for D.West, S.Telfair
I would hope that Mo Williams will backup Sessions , unfortunately unless they move Mo , Sessions is on the bench.
I think he is a pretty dynamic player , he likes to dish or finish in the lane ... and he plays bigger than he is.
Not super fast , but good speed , and has good handles as well as passes well.
When in Milwaukee his mid range jumper was suspect, and played average defense.
With all the time he spent on the bench last year in Minny - his jumper might of improved to the point , he might be a sleeper PG in the league right now.
He is definitely an up grade for the Cav's ....
The bltch : He's one of my fav players and now on the Cav's ... Am I supposed to root for them , or can I hurray for Ramon alone :confusedshrug:

Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
The Timberwolves will waive guard Delonte West, who they acquired in a trade with the Cavaliers on Monday night, according to sources.
Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports wrote the following on his Twitter page moments after the trade was officially completed.
Cleveland acquired Ramon Sessions, Ryan Hollins and a second round pick in 2013 from Minnesota in exchange for West and Sebastian Telfair.
Where will West end up? He got a bad rep now, but when he is 99%, he is overall a great ball player, on both sides of the court. I love to see him as a mav, but we got to many small guards.
Re: Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
Good defender, can play both the 1 and 2, athletic, can shoot, take it to the rack, has a great mid range game. Too bad he's a headcase.
The Bobcats could use him.
Re: Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
his career is over (blackballed). maybe he can join marbury over in china.
Re: Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
I fear this guy is going to be blackballed from the NBA.
Re: Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
The Heat
Lebron Mom would want it that way:banana:
Re: Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
this guy is way too solid to not get picked up by a team

Why would be be blackballed? The gun charges? Arenas isn't going to be blackballed for his gun charges.
I don't see him being blackballed for that LeBron's mom thing either. LeBron doesn't have that kind of pull.
Someone will sign him. He's a decent role player.

Yeah, btw does anyone know what the criteria is to become a GM in Minnesota? Seems like all you have to do is walk through the door.
Re: Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
I wouldn't mind Dallas replacing JJ Barea with him.
Re: Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
We (Knicks) could use him at the 2 spot. And to get into Bron's head in games v Miami.

Man, I am not a Lebron guy, but it seems to me that he does have a lot of pull around the League. For instance, the recent Chris Paul developments. And he has that firm--(LRMR).
Re: Delonte West will be waived by Wolves
The Celtics should sign West to replace Tony Allen
