When is the next collective bargaining agreement in the NFL? The rookie salaries has to be the #1 issue. I know Goodell has even agreed its ridiculous when Jake Long got what he did going #1 overall.

This is disgusting for a rookie to get 50 million guaranteed. I know Peyton, Brady, Rivers, Brees & McNabb are laughing this up right now, while their respective owners are smacking themselves because they are going to have to shell out some serious cash to pay their star QB's.

I have no problem with them getting paid. If the NFL makes the contracts guaranteed then I could see a case for dropping the average amount a player makes. Other than that I am of the mind that the players need to get there's as early as they can before their bodies break down.
