Team USA dominates Croatia 106-78 to open the 2010 World Basketball Championship. They play Goran Dragic & Bostjan Nachbar's Slovenia (coming off an 80-56 win over Tunisia) tomorrow morning.

Eric Gordon lead Team USA in scoring with 16 points on 6-8 shooting (4-6 from three) and also chipped in with one steal. Kevin Love grabbed 10 boards in 13 minutes and also hit a three.

Re: Gordon, Team USA Thread:

US leads 23-11 after the first 10.

64% from the field for the Americans while the Slovenian's are being held to 24% and have already turned it over 10 times (US has 6).

Gordon is struggling with 2 turnovers and a missed three, although that last turnover was a horrible call. Durant and Iggy leading the way with a combined 13 points on 6-8 shooting, and Westbrook leads the squad with 3 rebounds.

Re: Gordon, Team USA Thread:
Up 14 to end the half after the Slovenian side cut it down to as little as five. Durant has 15/4/3 on 5-8 shooting, what was expected from him when the tournament started. Love coming off the bench with 6 points and 3 boards, but can't make a FT to save his life. Lamar has struggled, but still has grabbed 6 boards. Gordon has 2 boards, 2 steals, 2 turnovers and is 0-2 from the field, 0-1 from three. Needs to step up.
