Oberto will be on a 1 year contract. Hopefully Przybilla and Oden return fast, because he is pretty useless. He is just a big body.

And so long to Pendergraph. He will be gone by Monday. Hopefully we can find a trade that works so we don't have to just release him, but it is pretty unlikely. Who would want to trade for an unproven player that is expected to miss the remainder of his contract.

Yea, Oberto is not a good player for our team .. i wish we could signed with Dampier but that seems impossible now.

I actually like this signing - Oberto will give us another big body who won't demand the ball and saves us from having to play Aldridge at the center spot too much.

My problem with him is that he doesn't use that big body for anything. He is a terrible defender, rebounder, and blocker. I don't know what it is that he can do to contribute.
