Congrats to Suns!

Didn't make the NBA Finals, but made the WCF without their franchise player Amare Stoudamire.

Discovered a budding superstar in Boris Diaw.

Discovered emerging talent in Raja Bell, James Jones and Leo Barbosa.

The future is bright in Phoenix, and next year with a healthy Amare the Suns are the favorites out of the West.

The Mavericks will hold that recognition as long as they are still in the playoffs next season. I do think the West will be stacked next year though. You have San Antonio, Dallas and Phoenix and a notch below, and just as dangerous, the Clippers, Nuggets and Kings.

I agree, congratulations to the Suns. I have to admit....they scared the living daylights out of me.

West is tough

I agree that all of those teams will be tough, plus Memphis, New Orleans, Seattle, Utah, Houston and Minnesota should be competitive teams next year.

The suns did an incredible job this year without Amare. They were suppose to be at the bottom of the list. congragulations to the suns.

They had a great run with an injury-riddled, undersized roster.

But any team with Fugazy Thomas (who probably earned himself another sizeable contract) was bound to not go all the way.

Congrats to Boris Diaw!

30 points in the final game of the WCF.

Went from being a trade throw in to becoming a future All-Star and core player of his franchise.

Too bad the Hawks couldn't discover your talent.

Best turnaround of any player in one year I have ever seen.

Congrats to Boris - the future is bright!
