Re: Lasik Eye Surgery
I had radial keratotomy done with a diamond cutter back in 1994, and couldn't be more pleased with the $2500 I spent. At first, it was hard to get used to the starburst effect, especially when driving at night. It took a couple of months to get over that, but since then everything has been cool.
My left eye has slipped in acuity a bit, but not to the point where I need glasses again.

Re: Lasik Eye Surgery
I want to get this shit done eventually but I've heard it's best to wait until after college because of the eye-strain you get from reading textbooks and what not. Dry eye would be a bitch, though.

Do you guys wear shades after the Lasik Surgery? How many days?

Re: Lasik Eye Surgery
Had it, much better but not 20/20 and not sure if I would do it over again... hate the halos and dry eyes (sometimes you open your eyes in the morning and it feels like your eyelids are tearing the front of your eyeballs off.

Thanks for the info. I really need a perfect vision when I go back to Law School next month.

The only school you've ever been to was pilipino anal intake school for homeless ladyboys. You won't really need perfect vision at the sweatshop either. And it's plain to see you're a total retard, even with bad eyesight.

Re: Lasik Eye Surgery
Finally getting it done this Tuesday (I'm OP). $4200. Saved up 2100 and finance the rest over 24 months.
Nervous but excited

Good luck and congrats! A lot of people aren't even eligible to get the surgery even if they wanted, consider yourself lucky hehe.

Yo SP, what was your prescription before? I'm only -1.5 I'm wondering if it's worth getting done. I mean I'd love to, but it's definitely over $5k here and I don't think there is any subsidy at all here.
