3/2/11 Hornets @ Knicks (W)

This game, the Knicks came out as a TEAM. With their team leader and captain Chauncey Billups injured and benched, Toney Douglas stepped it up. With this said, I see our team has improved without Billups. We gained something because it shows when players need to step up, they will. Douglas has on and off games but we need to see consistancy from him more often.

I believe 2/3 big three have to be benched. Billups is out, the other two work together with our role players. We got to see if Amare and Billups can step up without Melo, and Melo and Billups without Amare. This will occur, but not soon hopefully. Building chemistry is tough, but it takes experience.

Jared Jeffries looks good. No complaints. Suggestions? I suggest him playing more aggrassive. He's done his role, defense, rebound and create for our 4 other players. That's commitment. We don't need him to score, don't do that. Were asking for a role that is consumed of pure defense. I can see him being in the starting lineup. Why not? Maybe I'm overrating him here we shall see.

Great blow out victory something we needed after that tough heartbreaking loss by the Orlando Magic.

The Facts:
-Team work was here
-Leadership by Douglas
-Roger Mason JR shows potential
-Melo is improving his consistancy
-Shawne Williams showing his all around game and defense
-Were building chemistry more and more
-Were improving our defense
-Not giving up on plays
-Role players doing their part

This team shows their deadly when they can play the way they did today. Great win.

Discuss.
