Keep An Eye Out For: Doug Anderson (Committed to Detroit Mercy)
He's the most electric player I've seen play in person (which admittedly isn't saying that much) but still, Ray McCallum Jr. and Doug Anderson are going to potentially create one heck of an exciting situation in Detroit next year.
If you are interested in above & beyond high flyers, I very much recommend giving Doug Anderson a look. It's pretty nasty: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GCsZZ5wzMg |

Lol I was 98% sure he was going to be white prior to clicking the links. Dude literally has springs in his legs, he just snaps straight up and down so efficiently.

This past week, Doug learned to make sure he had a little more room before taking off for a windmill dunk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8w55X1ythAI
P.S. The video calls it the cheap shot of the year but I have to say, that defender just hustled his tail off and prevented two points. Next time around, Anderson kept it a little more conservative: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgAmyVaEd-s |

it was a cheapshot. he made no play on the ball. I've had almost that same play happen and I broke an arm, shit is no fun. |

I guess the more I look and the more I run it back, that was pretty unnecessary contact. I mean, if that were just another Detroit Mercy guy attempting a routine layup and he was taken out like that, I'm guessing many would agree the force was unnecessary. So maybe I'm with you there. I'm just kind of bummed he missed out on a prime opportunity for a windmill jam. Edit: Just found some gifs from other angles. Definitely looks dirty now, with a completely unnecessary grab and follow through. ![]() ![]() |

One last call for Doug. He's in the College Dunk Contest this evening; had the only perfect dunk of the first round.

I thought his off the bounce between the legs was better.
