A few top international prospects for 2011 NBA Draft

Just two days after the Bucks' season finale against Oklahoma City on April 13, Hammond and assistant general manager Jeff Weltman flew to Europe. Hammond and Weltman spent more than a week there scouting some of the premier foreign players in the draft and, in particular, three prospects who are likely to be on their draft radar: center Jonas Valanciunas of Lithuania, power forward Donatas Montiejunas of Lithuania and combo forward Jan Vesely of the Czech Republic. The Bucks will have the 10th overall pick for the June 23 NBA draft, barring the slim possibility they could ascend into the top three after the upcoming Draft Lottery. Journal Times

Most NBA scouts regard Valanciunas as a top five selection, while Montiejunas and Vesely are expected to drafted in the range where the Bucks figure to be selecting. Vesley, Montiejunas and Valanciunas help comprise perhaps the best group of foreign players to ever enter the draft. Journal Times

Valanciunas is not a center.

Now he's a center you're right but in my opinion he needs to be a PF in NBA, imagine how good he could be.

Well for playing PF he needs to work on his midrange game a lot, he is Noah type of player minus all that energy type of plays, but very good hands and good rebounder, interesting prospect thats for sure, like hime better then Montejunas cause he plays like game should be played for big men, down low not out on perimeter

but i still like his handles for such a young and big guy that's why i said he could be a 4 in my opinion.
to play 5 he needs to put a lot of muscle in his body, but he's a very gifted young player.

I think Vesely will be the best of the 3

Veseley won't be the best player, but he is most ready as Maga said. Valanciunas is still raw he should stay in Europe for one more year, he's in great situation there starting for Euroleague team. Motiejunas is very risky pick imo.

I often watch Valanciunas, last game he played he got 23pts 9rb 9/10 fg 5/6 ft in 22mins in national league semis, was clearly the best player on team, but competition wasn't the best. Imo he can become really good player, but he's still 18, he might destroy his career if he enters draft to early.

He's for sure better than Valanciunas and Motiejunas.
