The AP reports: The arrival of Kendrick Perkins was expected to give the Oklahoma City Thunder the kind of inside muscle they needed to stand their ground with some of the NBA’s beefiest big men. In the opener of their Western Conference semifinal series with Memphis, it was the Grizzlies who did the bruising. Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol combined for 54 points and 23 rebounds in leading eighth-seeded Memphis to a road victory in Game 1 for the second straight series. The Grizzlies got 52 points in the paint, more than any team but the Los Angeles Lakers have scored against Oklahoma City with Perkins in the lineup. “They played physical, they bullied us in the first game,” guard James Harden said after practice Monday. “So, the second game, we just have to prepare and go out there and not make excuses and win a game.” ... The Grizzlies—who led the NBA in steals and turnovers forced—also scored 23 points off of 18 Oklahoma City turnovers and 22 second-chance points off of 17 offensive rebounds.

I'd like to think OKC comes out and makes a statement game but really, I don't know what to expect. They're a resilient team but this is the postseason and they're super young.

I dunno about OKC... All I know is the Grizzlies are play amazing ball without Rudy Gay. Honestly, Z-Bo is tearing up. I think the Grizzlies will win it again tonight. I just don't see the Thunder winning tonight. But, they are at home, and down one game to an 8th seed... They must be bad, but still even if they lost the first game, there is still chances of them thinking they'll breeze through the series.

Grizzlies take it in the range of 5-10.

The griz aren't losing by more than 5. I saw the San antonio series they fight till the last second and it's really hard to get up big against them
