If Colangelo was given more than 2 guaranteed years, I would fully expect him to draft Montiejunas and trade Ed Davis.

But with the short contract, I can see BC drafting the most NBA-ready player who will give an immediate return but with a low ceiling. Great ready for 2 awesome runs at the 8th seed!

Is he the next Jrue Holiday or the next Antonio Daniels? Him and DeMar would probably be the worst ball-handling/passing backcourt in the league. I'm not crazy about his game, but he could be good down the line.

I don't know. Everybody has a huge flaw in this draft.

1.Irving-missed a lot of games
2.D.Williams-Can he defend SF's in the nba? Can he attack off the dribble?
3.Kanter-missed a whole year..Is he long enough?
4.Knight-can he run a team? can he break down defenses off the dribble?
5.Walker-too short, chucker?

I'll be fine with either Knight or Walker.

I agree, let's face it we're not going to be making the playoffs next year/2012 either. So we might as well get our front court set(hopefully), then get that PG next year when there are legit studs to draft even if we fall to 5th. I'm not familiar with next year's draft but I can almost guarantee there will be a better pg than brandon knight where we pick next year(that's how bad the drop off is after 3.. damn why did we have to drop? I was content with picking kanter!)

He's tried to go for athletic players who can defend lately with Derozan,DAvis,Johnson,Johnson and even Alabi. The one glaring lack of athleticism and defense on this team is the PG spot and Knight would go a long ways towards filling that hole. Hopefully you get someone to take Calderon

Well, Irving or Williams are top two picks, so we don't get them. Kanter would be my next best option. Failing that, Knight. Failing that, Walker. Failing that, Vesely. Failing that, failed draft.

I'm almost sure Colangelo will go for one of those damned Lithuanians if he's given a chance.
