Kawhi Leonard

My Wiz have the 6th pick, and talking to some of my fellow fans they are in love with Kawhi Leonard out of San Diego State in that spot. I don't get it. Maybe I'm just watching the wrong tape now, because to me he seems like a good hustle/energy guy that can bring D and little else. A solid starter at best but more than likely just a niche guy. Absolutely no offensive skill set or feel and a horrible jumpshot. Am I wrong?

And don't get me wrong, I think he's a good prospect. Just not at the top of the draft. High energy/hustle players should be going mid to late first. 6 is a total reach.

(I could get more Wiz specific, but right now I'm just curious as to what I'm missing on the Leonard in general. Or if I'm right.)

He'll be a good defensive player/glue guy, and he's very athletic. That's all there is to know about Leonard, I think it's hillarious that I've seen mock drafts with the Morris twins getting picked later than him....

GERald Wallace is the usual comp. No 3 point game, but nice midrange, pull up game. Elite defender/rebounder who would be a great finisher on the other end of Wall's passes.

I think Vessely is a better option for them though and overall, they can do better at 6.

Depends on need, but yah, both the Morris' are being underrated. Markieff has the size, bulk and demeanor to defend NBA PFs and he has a solid offensive game compared to most defensive oriented PFs. Marcus is the most polish scoerr of any 4 or 5 in this draft, as both a shooter and post up player. Both have great character, motor and toughness.
