Ray Allen

in his prime and being the number 1 option what players would you need to surround him with to contend for the championship...most ppl dont think you could win with ray as the main guy on a team but I think with the right cast its possible, remember ray allen pretty much took the spurs in 05 single handily to 6 games (lost game 6 by 2 on duncan game winner) and if you have any other players in mind that you think could win as a legit number 1 option but never got the chance/never had the right pieces feel free to say the player and give the cast he needs to win

Re: Ray Allen

He was one game away from the NBA Finals in 2001.

If Milwaukee had a decent big, than they would have gotten to the Finals.

yea true plus i still think the bucks got screwed out of that series but thats another story...

pg. Jason Kidd
sg. Ray allen
sf. Andre Iguodola
pf. Carlos Boozer/Bosh
C. Dikembe Mutombo

I think with all of those guys in their prime that would be a championship contending starting 5 with ray being the number 1 option... jason kidd would get a lot of assists, boozer/bosh could be the second scorer and you have iggy and mutombo as the defensive stoppers with iggy doin a lil bit of everything... I know I could make a better team but this just came off the top of my head lol

Just keep that Bucks team, and add someone like Camby, and some bruisers like Malik Rose, PJ Brown, ect.

Re: Ray Allen

Rajon Rondo
Ray Allen
Ron Artest
Pau Gasol
Marcus Camby

Everyone in their prime, this team would be pretty good.

i like this team a lot... ray could average 22-25 ppg pau would give 20-10 ron gives at least 15-17 with GREAT defense camby blocks shots and rebounds while rondo racks up the assists
