Will Heat totally rebuild their supporting cast?

The Heat will have their core back and a bunch of the key reserves, but even so, almost half the team COULD be replaced

Actually the ones expiring are exactly the ones who should not be back.
Chalmers is restricted, and can be brought back without using any exeptions.

Chalmers/?/?
Wade/Jones/?
James/Miller/?
Bosh/Haslem/?
?/Anthony/Pittman

The ones they might not keep:
Bibby, House, Howard, Ilgauskas, Dampier, Magloire
are min salary guys, and they are not that important pieces anyway..

If they can get Dalembert, keep Bibby or House, all they need is minimum guys to fill out the roster.

The Heat need to add another point guard, and some bigs who aren't 90 years old - guys like Dan Gadzuric, Nazr Mohammed, et al. A few bigs who can foul and play for about 6-10 minutes per night in limited roles.

nope. They have 10 players under contract (granted, they could waive butler, pittman, hasbrouck and beverley) and 2 more player options (z and house, both of which I expect to re-up). Even if Z and house decline and they waive the other 4, they still have about 61 million committed in salary for next season. Without knowing where the next CBA will end, predicting anything precise is silly, but its fairly safe to assume that the salary cap position will be worse for teams than this year. So, at best (this years CBA), they will have the MLE, BAE and vet min contracts to replace the 6 players talked about here. not to mention chalmers.

They need new centers.

Magloire - done
Dampier - done
Big Z - 99% done
Howard - 95% done

Anthony is a nice role player but they need better from this spot.

They'll keep the big 3 and Udonis, Mario (he'll be re-signed), Pittman, Joel Anthony and most likely Miller. Add in whoever they pick at #31, should be a good player, there's always a few good players to fall into the second round. They'll probably try to add guys like TJ Ford, Kwame Brown and Samuel Dalembert... which would all be major improvements IMO.
