OT: hooking a PS2 up to a laptop

Someone told me it's possible. Is there some type of special cable I can get? Over the internet or in stores I don't mind, I just really want one.

ALL help is greatly appreciated.

VGA adapter.

The internet SUCKS where I'm at right now... if I search on a search engine it comes up with the "internet explorer cannot display the webpage" bull****.

Obviously, I'm trying to look up VGA adapters... any more info bigkingsfan?

AppleNader 12-24-2006 02:22 PM

stop using internet explorer

Bourne 12-24-2006 02:24 PM

No thanks, AppleNader.

Then how the f&ck are you typing so much on ISH if your internet sucks and can't bring up any search engines lolzzz!!!!11

Beats me... it has something to do with it being wireless internet and everyone else having one around here too. Makes it so you can't play online games without being disconnected within a minute or watch videos online.

I looked up vga adapter in wikipedia, and it made no mention of it being able to make a ps2 useable on a laptop.... although it did say that the old style ps2 had a vga chip in its motherboard.

You realize i can people edit things in and out of wikipedia?

Why do you wanna hook up the ps2 to a laptop? :confusedshrug:

Go on ebay and search for "ps2 vga adapter"

Go onto google and type "I need a job". You'll find what you're looking for.

Just out of curiosity, what IS the downside to using Internet Explorer as opposed to something like Firefox?

security, first off. IE, which is tied to the operating system itself, is more vulnerable to all sorts of spymare and viruses than *******. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critici...ernet_Explorer

I use firefox. Better security, faster, more customizable in terms of adding skins/tabs/add-ons/pop-up blockers/etc.

Something I would like to add is that the plug-ins for FireFox kick all kinds of ass. I've got one that let's me go backward and forward on websites, reload pages, bring up new windows, and make text/pictures smaller/bigger just by moving my mouse in a certain way. Another plug-in is one that restores FireFox to its exact state when you boot back up after a crash. It remember everything, so even if my computer crashed or locked up at this very moment, the stuff I'm typing right this second would still be here when I started FireFox back up. It's saved a lot of headaches. Another one lets me download streaming videos like on YouTube.

So yeah, there's a ton of cool sh!t to add to it, and honestly I don't even take advantage of it. There are lots of people who have way cooler stuff than I do.
