whats the deal? last i heard he was going to get a second opinion on his broken toe. is he likely to start playing again within the next week or two ? or should i just drop him for someone productive? I am hurting for assists right now since rondo is also sidelined.

He's apparently getting a second opinion on the toe, so I would just sit tight until then. He's at least out on their current 4 game road trip.

I'm in the same boat - really need his production and don't want to drop him. I guess his potential return date is 2/10, and at that point who knows what his status will be? I'm gonna hold on to him and cross my fingers he's not out more than a week or two. Anything beyond that and I'm dropping.

According to Doc Rivers yesterday, "He may play [Wednesday], but I'd say closer to Friday would be the target date."

So maybe Feb 3rd, which is much better than what Rondo was saying - something like around the All-Star break.
