We did what we had to do to win.
Last night's game sums it up. We did what we had to do to win.
Yes I saw some things that bothered me and Isiah certainly noticed them too, but we won.
We are inching closer to .500 and the division lead.....wow!!!!
I think the team relaxed because, let's face it, the sixers suck.
They are an embarrassment to the league.
Kind of what the Knicks were last year but we had a lot of talent, they don't.
I still say Lee is better than Jefferies and can play the 3.
But I do like the effort Curry is making and he looks like he's getting leaner and is in much better condition, so is Marbury.
Frye had a really good game, 17 points and he was all over the boards and only had a few defensive lapses. I think he was a little confused about who was supposed to do what.
Those are the little things they will have to work out before you will beat the top teams.
At least the rotation is secure, we have a lot of talent in all facets of the game. Most of all we have some height and size yet can run. We match up well with any team and I am excited about the rest of the season.
Let's hope all the players stay healthy and continue to become a TEAM.
All the cancers are gone and you can see the difference. I'm proud of Marbury and what he is doing. I can see the scowl is gone and he is talking with everybody and taking a quiet leadership role.....awesome.
That win last night was an ugly second half but your right, we won.
getting closer to .500 before all-star break would be great.
We need to take out the bobcats friday.
To be honest, the Bobcats will be a test for us. The Knicks are clearly better, the 'cats have injuries to deal with. But how will our team respnod? If they go out and (excuse me HTR) beat the **** out of them, then we know how well our team is developing. Come out flat and we got problems. But I definitely see lots of improvement and this upcoming second half of the season might be a little longer than expected. In a very good way.
they played a complete game. they played unselfish, they shoot the ball good, and they played good d.
.500 before the all star break would make me very happy.
It would be more than I expected.
Right now I like the team, I like the way they play.
If you watch closely Zeke is installing the offense he spoke about in preseason.
Watch, when they are working well you see all the guys cutting to the basket.
That's why Curry must learn to pass off the double team and hit either a cutter or a player outside who can either pass to the cutter, pass it back to curry once he establishes better position or hit the open jumper.
That's what Zeke has been trying to do. It sounds easy but when you have 5 other guys trying to stop you it's actually very difficult.
I'm glad you only watched the first half.
