Play the people that give us the best chance to win meaningful games. Stop letting the crowd dictate who you play. With Mike, Lin could be stinkin it up and he'd still get in 38 minutes. Also, remember it took the crowd chanting "We want Shumpert" to get him any playing time and eventually overtake Douglas' job.

Even though I can't stand D'antoni, he played rookies and centers, while here, which seemed to be his biggest knock, other than no regard for team defense.

We know Lin has the potential to be great. Hes shown that. His turnover rate remains unchanged and sometimes his passing is very questionable. Maybe what Lin needs to develop into a better player is to come off the bench rather than be a starter at the moment. He may very well be the ultimate spark plug off the bench which will make him shine once again.

Melo is a great player. Lin has shown us he has potential (38 points against the Lakers is no walk in the park) to be great. He just needs to work on his t.o's and work on his plays on the court.

BTW, 38 points against Derrick Fisher, who is next to last in every statistical category among all starting pgs, IS a walk in the park lol Lin is... promising

I agree. As far as I'm concerned, theres only 2 great players in the NBA. LeBron and Kobe. LeBron only gets the nod because he is one of the best passers I've ever seen and he's 6'8" and about 260.

Tim Duncan? Dirk Nowitzki. Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett. There are some great players in the NBA.

Melo isn't one of them, but he has the talent.

I forgot Duncan existed lol but yea he's great...well was. He's old now. I dont consider Nash great. Kidd was a great passer but I wouldnt call him great. KG, i'll have to get back to you on that one.
