Michael Redd loves his OSU Buckeyes

The last time Ohio State played in the NCAA championship game, Michael Redd was hosting a charity event in Milwaukee.

Redd may have missed that special night, a loss to the Florida Gators in 2007. But should the Buckeyes reach the finals on April 2 in the New Orleans Superdome, the OSU product vowed he would be there.

“I know we won’t play, nobody usually plays on national championship night,” Phoenix Suns guard Redd said Sunday before taking on the Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena. “I want to be there to support ’em.”
