Bulls in no rush to increase Rip Hamilton's minutes
Chicago Sun-Times:

Rip Hamilton has played about 20 minutes in three different games since returning to the starting lineup. Coach Tom Thibodeau said increasing his minutes in preparation for the playoffs is not a top priority.

Im more worried about our team, Thibodeau said. Thats what I worry about. Hes doing fine. Hes coming along. You guys have to remember, he has missed a lot of time.

Re: Bulls in no rush to increase Rip Hamilton's minutes
ESPN Chicago:

The best sign for the Bulls moving forward is that without Derrick Rose, Hamilton finally showed how dangerous he could be in short spurts. The Knicks could not slow him down in the third quarter, and he was able to open up the floor for the rest of his teammates. Tom Thibodeau has said over the past week that he would like to start getting more time for Hamilton on the floor, but he played just 20 minutes yet again. It will be interesting to see if and when Thibodeau decides to start sticking with the veteran shooting guard more. If he continues to play like he did on Tuesday night, and stays healthy, the Bulls are in good shape.

Re: Bulls in no rush to increase Rip Hamilton's minutes
Hamilton leads Bulls over Knicks, 98-86 -- The AP reports: The Chicago Bulls thought they were finally getting their whole team back together for the final stretch. Instead, Derrick Rose was out again. The Bulls came out on top, anyway. Richard Hamilton scored 20 points, Luol Deng added 19 and Chicago beat the New York Knicks 98-86 Tuesday night even though they were playing without their superstar point guard again. Hamilton had 18 points in the third quarter to help Chicago stay ahead after building a 12-point halftime lead. Kyle Korver added 14 points and three blocks, and the Bulls prevailed despite Carmelo Anthony's 29 points for New York... Anthony came up big again for the Knicks after scoring a season-high 43 and hitting the go-ahead 3 in overtime on Sunday, but New York got pounded on the boards 51-33... Then again, as Tyson Chandler said, Anthony was the ''one bright spot'' for New York. Chandler did have 15 rebounds, but otherwise, it was a mismatch on the glass.

Wow. Is just the best way to describe RIP's performance yesterday. If he plays like that then we can truly beat anyone.
