Bucks fighting with Knicks for 8th place

Milwaukee (28-29) can gain the playoff tiebreaker by beating the Knicks (29-28) and can move into eighth in the Eastern Conference race. The Bucks lead the season series with New York, 2-1, after winning the first two meetings but losing an 89-80 road decision on March 26. New York had rallied to beat the Bulls on Sunday, 100-99 in overtime, in a thrilling game at Madison Square Garden. Carmelo Anthony had 43 points Sunday and contributed a team-high 29 on Tuesday, but the Knicks fell to 11-4 under coach Mike Woodson. |
