Aren't the "Occupy" people basically just giant IRS bitches?
 

I was interviewing a bunch of Occupy people here in London, not a single one could give a concrete answer of what they were trying to accomplish, and most didn't even seem to have an idea why they were out there and just kept telling me to "read the pamphlet, it will tell you everything" but that's not the point.

The point is, that for these occupy people, many of whom are supposedly anti-capitolist, they are doing everything they can to passionately show their support for the IRS and capitolist system in place in America.

These people are taking time off work and leaving their comfortable homes in order to sleep on the streets or in parks because they are so outraged about the top "1%" of wealthy Americans using legal tax loopholes to avoid paying the IRS what they rightfully deserve! They seem to be very very pro-capitolist based on their actions and what they are saying

Democrats, leftists, socialists. Their only solution is to take money from the people and give it to the government. It's all they can fathom.

It's a silly way of thinking. Especially from a group that considers itself to be free thinkers, open minded, etc.

Environmental issues? Give money to the government
Kids can't afford college? Give money to the government
Health care not working? Give money to the government

Of course, no one is "giving" money to the government. That word implies voluntarism, mutual agreement, and open trade. The government is *taking* peoples money, backed up by the threat of violent force against those who do not pay. Kidnapping, murder, and theft. That is what these occupy people support.

Yes. Here in London, many of them just moved into a park near my house that I usually play football in in East London because they got kicked out of the nice places.

Where I live is a part of London that is the very epitome of the 99%, so I found this comical, they are protesting to the people who have lived their whole lives experiencing the supposed wealth divide, and none of the 1% they hate so much go anywhere near that park, so I went there today pretending to be a naive university newspaper reporter and asked them a bunch of seemingly innocent questions.

Half were idiots, the other half were just homeless dudes who seemed to think it was a cool place to hang out. No one gave a concrete solution to the problem or could even explain to me what the problem was in their mind.

maybe it died out in the US but here in London it is spreading, they all got kicked out of st pauls so are moving into any space of greenery they can find.

Occupy is alot closer to the things you believe than not

have you ever actually been to an encampment? They are filled with Ron Paul supporters and libertarians as much as any thing else.

they dont support kidnapping and all that other BS...

if the tea party would smarten up and stop being soo preoccupied with Obama and get back to their beef about the FED? maybe the 2 groups could find common ground and become allies which would make both groups more powerful.

the idea that these groups are enemies or that occupy is out to get other people's money is propaganda that I had assumed you would be smarter than

If we lived in a real capitalist society, Wall Street would have been made to pay for what they did to the economy.... they wouldnt get bailed out by the FED in the 'free market'....

I actually wanted them to be educated on what they were saying and give me good answers so I could learn about it, but instead they were even more ignorant and dumb than me on these subjects.

Which i found strange, they had all this passion to go leave their homes, quit their jobs and camp out in a freezing park but they have no understanding as to why, and knew absolutely nothing about the movement they were apparently so passionate about

and yeah like I said alot were just homeless people who seemed to think it was a cool place to hang out

You're talking to Occupy Protesters who are camping out in London? Do they realize they took a wrong turn somewhere? Are these people who simply agree with the protesters or are they on a UK vacation. Maybe I am sleep deprived and misunderstood something.

There is an occupy movement in the UK as well.

Despite everyone out of work being entitled to 1000 quid a month in housing benefits (you are able to get a nice place for 400 quid a month leaving 600 quid to spend on whatever you want), and free high quality health care given out to everyone no questions asked (I was with a girl who sprained her knee and couldnt get to the tube, so we called an ambulance, it picked us up for free then the hospital proceeded to treat her for free, also my brother was sick on xmas and I took him to the emergency room, we forgot his ID and passport and they treated him without even asking a name) they are still complaining and wanting more free benefits and moaning at the 1%.

I had no idea it was out sourced international. Guess I stopped paying attention to it a long time ago. They reminded me of the Tea Party people, except the Tea Party people eventually had some people smart enough to turn that anger into somewhat of a force. The Occupy People are stuck on protesting without organizing into a force to enact any of their beliefs in a cohesive manner.
